Many women develop hypertension during pregnancy, but blood pressure levels often even out once the baby is born, leading women to believe they have returned to a good state of health.

Dominiczak, M.D., has assumed the duties of Editor-in-Chief for Hypertension: Journal of the American Heart Association, the leading monthly journal for physicians and scientists involved in research and treatment of high blood pressure.
